I'd imagine the JT/JK dash will have plenty of aftermarket options.

that's like edge banding veneer. I mean like a whole sheet of veneer. Ever watch "How its made: Dream cars"?
That show is fun. every episode is a different car. I'll have to look back at one where they focus on the dash of a luxury car for some tips.

Lol. It's supposed to be tape backed. Look up a few posts. They have a wood grain. Is that real or fake?

Finally found where I had seen this. It was on a Facebook post. That is why I couldn’t find it here. Nothing concrete here, just someone stating what their dealer had told them. So i wouldn’t say this confirms anything. See 2nd response.
