The bed length of this PICK-UP truck is awful. Jeep should offer a longer bed and an extended cab.

I just went through the configurator for a Ram Rebel quad cab and a Gladiator Rubicon. I went through my preferred options for both and they each came out to about $55k and change. I must say the Rebel would be a much better value - I specified a quad cab, with the e-assist hemi - so way more torque and power; air suspension (which I have now on my '15 Ram Laramie - and love it!); much larger bed - width and length; the quad cab (I also have now on my Laramie) easily can seat five adults; and the Rebel with air suspension has some pretty good off-road cred. The price is an awful lot to justify just for "lifestyle" crew cab with a 60 inch bed.

OH - quite the contrary - Look what Jeep is bringing to Moab this year!!!! it's the Jeep "J6" - there's more life than ever in the longer bed shorter cab movement:- see the article at the link:

This is fantastic news - my predictions are right on target!!!!
They have brought a lot of one-off jeeps to EJS over the years. But for your sake, and ours, I hope it goes into production! I will buy a used one for my boy in 12 years.

That is certainly one way to do it. I am curious how awkward (or less awkward) the hardtop is to remove on the JT.
I’m thinking With it being considerably smaller and lighter than a wrangler and with the fixed back window, making it more stable and less cumbersome, that I would be able to remove it and pull it off the truck by myself.
