So i think the difference is overcast, vs sun shining on the wheels, maybe. Why can't they just have a Rubicon Fender BLACK version of these?

I guess it depends on the lighting. They have a dark bronze cast to them

ooooh, i think that looks good. Thank you Sir! I really liked the black rhino armory wheels or any kind of military-ish full moon wheel, but i bet those are heavy, and i do wonder about brake cooling. Who else in the Gator camp has some favorite wheels they think would look nice on our Gator-Mobiles?

You might be disappointed. FCA tends to discontinue special colors after a short period of time and then years later reintroduce them with a new name. Gator, gobi, punkn, sting gray may not be available for 2021 gladiators.

I will be. I was already planning to wait until late summer so this is only about an extra month or so.

You might be disappointed. FCA tends to discontinue special colors after a short period of time and then years later reintroduce them with a new name. Gator, gobi, punkn, sting gray may not be available for 2021 gladiators.

Traditionally Wranglers turned over colors every 1 to 2 years (other than the base colors). But they had a limitation in the factory that they could only run 9 colors at a time. No telling what they will do now.

But yeah. Conventional wisdom is that if you like a color you should buy it and not take any chances. If you like black, white, red, billet, and granite then you are probably ok.
