I have yet to see any pictures like this, but this is the best I could do and didn't have any plywood on hand to conduct a full test. I tried to line up the best I could, and I think this pic can show with 99% confidence that the "gas fill bump" intrudes into the bed an equal distance or slightly less the the opening of the tail gate. With this I hypothesize that if it fits within the opening with of the tailgate it will not hit the "gas fill bump". testing to follow.

very good stuff! plus the width at tailgate is 49" So the plywood could be all of 1" to the right of the left tailgate "bump.

Somebody will put this bulge to bed with a photo........................................that sounded weird, sorry.

CRAP, i didn't even win my own contest, it states,
"First person to post a REAL photo of their 2020 Gladiator with
a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the bed wins prize 1."

THERE....... this wasn't my JT though:angry:. So the contest continues, but i'm changing the rules to as follows.

"First person to post a REAL photo of THEIR 2020 Gladiator with a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the bed with the proper three 2x4's cut and tailgate in the half position according to the directions in the owners manual WINS PRIZE 1! "
Super technical aren’t you?

you were SO CLOSE! judging by the lattice, you only have about half sheets there. Plus those are actually wood slats, not plywood, but a good effort!
That’s two 3/4” lattice pieces, 4x8, with 2x4 supports per the manual. Next time I’ll buy a sheet of plywood just for kicks.

Whenever someone does post a picture of plywood in the bed of a Gladiator please be certain to post an up close picture showing how the drivers side front corner of the bed so everyone can see if the plywood has to rest on the gas pipe buldge or if it sits on the little lip to the right of that pipe buldge.

Turkeyboy had a good picture of a lattice sheet but we really couldn’t not see the corner in question.
