Thought I'd share some great news....you can recycle quite a few parts from your JL(if you crossed over form there!)

• Cherry Red FRONT Alien Shade - Yep! @alienshade
• Front Rubber Mats w/Red Jeep Logo - Yep!
• JL Roof Rack - looks awesome.....
• Stubby Antennae - sweet!
• Front console storage tray - it fits!
• Molle bags - in there!

Just thought I'd share so someone doesn't get rid of parts/accessories that can be re-used!

I saw your post in the bright white thread, I was going to ask if alien shade made that for a gladiator. Glad to know it fits!

Alien shade will be one of my first mods i love the one on my tj. Im definitely getting the full shade for the gladiator tho

Had one for my JLUR.....believe it or not, I actually like a small gap along sides, lets a smidge of light in AND still felt like open air which you get from the Alienshades vs JTops….sold my JTop on the forum. The JTops are quality stuff, just like the "feeling" of some air/light from the Alienshade…...just my 2 cents...

Thanks. I was wondering about a spider shade option. I was seeing if there is a good option in lieu of a soft top in case some rain happens and my hard top is home. Any good suggestions. Thanks.

Phhht - I ran a homemade shade for several years and never had any problems at speed. Granted this was a 3.8 JK with the crap 4spd, so it’s unkikely I actually spent much time at 85, but the point remains - speed ain’t an issue unless your shade is so loose it’d smack you in the head anyway.

What is the distance between the bars on the Gladiator and what was it on the JL. My main concern is if the bars are too close then stability, especially at speed, will be compromised.
