$20k markup seem crazy. How much would you be willing to pay? I’ve waited 7 yrs for this truck but will never pay over MSRP and have always negotiated below.

$20,000 markup?? Absolutely outrageous! Good luck with that, Mr. Dealer!

You should list the dealers name and location so EVERYONE will stay away. Thats just crazy.

This dealer is located in Marin County Ca.
They lost me as a customer for life. This business practice is really short sided. I wouldn’t be surprised if the they go out of business. Youcan’t blatantly screw people like that and expectto be around for very long.

It seems that most of these “mark ups” are from Cali dealers or those in larger cities.

For the life of me I can’t see anyone getting raped like this. Even if you’re making 200K a year that’s almost a month labor just to pay the difference.

Call the Idaho dealer and buy yourself a first class plane ticket and still save thousands...

Guess I won’t be going down to check out that one. I think it’s the nearest dealer to me with a Rubi.

Ultimately, the value of one of these trucks is what a buyer is willing to pay. For someone to whom $10k is petty cash, then this mark-up may not be significant if they must have a truck RIGHT NOW and from that dealer. Eventually, the dealer will get tired of looking at it and remove the ADM, or will find that person willing to pay up or negotiate down from a seriously compromised position (+$10k) to something less compromised (MSRP to +$9.9k).

Free markets are the best markets.

Its a financial decision for them. If some shmo pays the 20K...on average they probably make like what, $300 a vehicle? They would have to sell 50+ vehicles to make this 20K up, or fleece one chump into one 20K pure profit payment. Good scam they got goin.

I won't pay one red cent in premium...but if someone is looking to pay 5-10% above MSRP I would be more than happy to flip my LE to them. For what they are selling in CA for a man could have it shipped from TN to CA and still save $10k
