The designation of Central New Jersey with a distinct toponym is a colloquial one rather than an administrative one, with no official definition and with a sometimes contentious taxonomic existence.

I love that this is in the first paragraph. I can't tell you how many discussions i've had about this. Central New Jersey doesn't exist!
LoL my wife is from "central" new jersey. So when we first met that made for some good discussions. I'm pretty certain her and her friends probably started that wikipedia article, and then someone , edited it to more accurately reflect the truth

That is awesome. I went to high school in Reedsburg in the late 90s. Adams/Friendship was at the butt off all the jokes, good to see the reputation still lives on.
