Is there a rhyme or reason of which trim levels or options/packages trigger the necessity for the bedliner to be ordered?

Dunno. But now I wish that I hadn't ordered one.

One more slow down...

Over at the stingray thread they are saying it is being forced on their orders.....so now I have to wait until that's over and until the base sport models are available so I guess I have some wait time in front of me it's OK I have a fully modded rock krawler I can wait.

Why not get the bedliner? Makes more sense to have it done at the factory than aftermarket. If you do it from the factory it is in the MSRP of the vehicle and will help with trade in value. If you do it aftermarket it will be a full loss.

1. Factory liner is little over 1/2 thickness of linex.

2. Bedliner whether factory or aftermarket add to resale value

3. Factory warranty is 3 years.....lines is lifetime nationwide.

4. Factory is put on by spraying an adhesion promoter and then coating right over factory paint. Linex is sprayed after they create a mechanical adhesion by scuffing it and then spraying. Look on YouTube for factory bedliner removal and tell me that doesnt scare you

5. Linex is 450 bucks where I'm at.

In my area Linex is about $100 mpre than the factory and the dealerships will give no return on investment for it.

I'll go with the factory bedlining. It has always held up for me. However to each their own. Was just wondering why people seemed concerned about it.

You might want to read the JBhell thread no thanks.

Why force an option that is holding up production?
That’s what I don’t understand. Maybe they don’t want to have to start any sting gray yet.

The people who’s order are stuck, are they built but just waiting in a liner? Or not even start because of liner?

Someone’s build was apparently shipped to the dealer without Bedliner which was ordered. So, they paid for it, but didn’t get it.
My wife bought a 1le Camaro and it showed up with no blacked out hood. The dealership had to wrap the hood. It happens I guess.
