Double Beep?

This has happened to me about 3 times... while driving. I heard two fast beeps.
There's no message on the cluster or on the uconnect...

I'm looking through the manual, but curious if someone knows off hand what it might be.

Could it have been the forward collision warning system? I'm not sure how it works so just throwing it out there.

Do you have adaptive cruise control? Was it on?

Yes, and I think I had it on all 3 times. I wasn’t locked on to a vehicle - but it was on, ready...
I haven’t yet found anything in the manual that makes reference to the sound I heard.

It might have detected the vehicle in front of you even if it wasn't close enough for the truck to slow down.

I thought that - but the beep is very annoying. lol. and i was locked onto a vehicle two of the 3 times...

The only other thing I can think of would be the blind spot monitor, but I don't know if it beeps or not.

It can beep - but the first day I set it to only the light, no audible warning.

I've never had a beep related to adaptive cruise in the Gladiator or my Cherokee (have had my Trailhawk for 2 years). Collision avoidance also has a dash warning in red and all that and if it is in cruise it will use the brakes. Closest I can think of is blind spot monitors when you change lanes using your turn signal.

Was your phone paired? Possible you got an email and it was a UConnect notification? Haven't heard this in the Gladiator, but the first few times I heard the sound in the GT4 I was completely perplexed.

the rear cross path detection will beep when it detects a car (or person) walking towards the back. happened to me, had no idea what it was the first time. lol

In my '17 Grand, sometimes when on trail, it will beep if I get a little close to a bush while driving. Caught me offguard the first couple of times.
