In this other thread I linked to a product that lets you replace the housing of your key.

But now I just found a thread about the emergency part of the key. So you can get just that piece made to open and close the door, perhaps stash it away in a hidden place outside the vehicle, and leave your other keyfob in a faraday pouch.

Hopefully this works for the Gladiator too. I will confirm in the future, both this post and the other one.

I found a locksmith that can do laser cut keys and I was able to get the emergency key cut. This locksmith was a little pricier than I expected - $50. I am certain it can be had for cheaper.

If you choose to do this you can tell the locksmith that it's the same key used by Jeep, Fiat and Alfa Romeo.

It is known as a SIP22KP key blank.
