So I spent far too long searching through the internet and looking through JT Manual, and was not able to find whether the offroad pages were part of 7 inch Uconnect. However, I believe I did find that vehicle information such as location specific tire pressure and vehicle tilt is part of 7 inch TFT Instrument Cluster display.
Jeep cares posted on another thread that it is available on rubicons only and was not on the first batch(batches) of Gladiators because they did not have it ready yet for launch and would be available later down the road.

Ok maybe I misunderstood your original question. I saw the jeepcares post, but I think it was about Offroad+ mode which is a high speed rear locker mode. I thought you were asking about the offroad pages which is vehicle information.

Hi Rex3rd,

We appreciate your inquiry regarding this. Off-Road Pages is only available on the 8.4" screen.

Guys, just get the 8.4. The 7 is still very buggy. Just check the JL forums and you’ll find people still complaining about issues with CarPlay, crashes, BSOD (yea, it’s actually blue), etc., etc.

Harman Kardon really halfassed the software on the 7. Oddly enough, there my perception is that there are fewer problems with the 8.4. At least I see fewer issues reported. I suspect this is because the 8.4 can get OTA updates, where the 7 cannot.

IMO, you only should get the 5 or 7 if you plan to upgrade to the new Alpine 9” head unit. Unfortunately that is still not out yet. A rep from Alpine told me they expect it to come out in October.

You are lying (sort of)
The day I took delivery of my JTR with 7” uconnect the dealer and I were both using the OffRoad Pages before I took it home. Next day, gone. Never to return. So you can NOT say the orp’s are 8.4” only.
My serv dept escalated the case as much as he could with uconnect. The farthest we got was a customer service rep that sounded like he was in high school, and couldnt help one bit. Just kept telling us that we didnt see what we saw, as if we were on drugs that day. Neither of us do drugs, fyi.

My JT with 7" has two off-road pages, 4x4 and tilt/roll but they are in the evic display, not on the radio display.

@Scrubb84

As previously mentioned, I can confirm that Off-Road Pages is a feature only available on the 8.4" Uconnect screen. I apologize for any miscommunication that you may have received previously.

Im not trying to argue.......BUT, I know for a fact that the ORP’s worked great on my 7” uconnect for a whole afternoon. How about we cut the crap and you just tell me how much money you want for the code or whatever it takes to get them back. Money is the ONLY reason you keep telling ppl they cant have them unless they upgrade. Tell me I’m wrong. I’ll listen.

@Scrubb84,

We do not advise upgrading your vehicle infotainment system to alter your vehicle outside of factory specifications. There is not a code to purchase Off-Road Pages. Unfortunately, Off-Road Pages are not available on the 7" Uconnect screen; they are only available on the 8.4" screen. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Lets try different wording. If the Off-Road Pages are not available on the 7” screen, how did they appear and function on my 7” screen for one day? My dealer will verify this for you.

I do not think brow beating a manufacturer's social media rep is going to get you or anybody else with a 7.0 radio the off road pages.

Not denying what you saw as I was not there but it could as just as easily been a one time glitch of dirty software code that they may have dabbled with during development of the 7.0 and they just decided to implement it on the 8.4 systems only.

While not stated directly that the off road pages in the owners manual are 8.4 systems only, all the graphics of those pages show it in the 8.4 screen format and not the 7.0. Also, I have seen no mention or pictures shown of Off Road Pages for the 7.0 in any FCA media for either the Gladiator or the Wrangler JL.

While it would be a nicety for those of use with the 7.0 radios to get Off Road Pages, the case of it being an entitlement is weak from any official published sources saying we should have had it.

I actually agree with you. Sometimes it seems the only way to get a real answer is to bitch about it non-stop.
