k, so
This may be anti-climatic for some.
BUT FOR ME, this is the mostest important thing I've done yet.
anybody reading my posts knows from day 1, I needed one thing, and it's now done.

I

HAVE

STEPS!!!

Before:

That looks great. But when I clicked on the N-Fab link that was posted I then found a N-Fab step bar that I think also looks great. And it shows that it also goes on the Gladiator. I don’t care for the green stripes, would have to ask if it’s possible to get them without those green stripes if this ends up being what I would go for. Just putting this out there in case anyone else interested in this other N-Fab step bar.

I don't know JP. I think your mods are kind of lacking something. You need some MUD now. And some scratches.
ya, gotta work on that.
the OCD is ridiculous, I HAD to wash it after the step install just cause.

ya, really like it.
got it about 1/8" off, but I really like this flush tape mounting over the old screw in way...
I like this hood protector the most among a lot of them available because it kinda flows with the lines of the Jeep, it doesn't stick out like some of them do...

@JP1, I really like the way you have your JT set up. Could I have you give me an overall height measurement from the ground to the top of the JT roof? My garage is height-challenged and I am trying to see how aggressive I can get with tires and a lift. Looks great!!

k, let's recap:
LE Rubicon (cause I still think is just a little higher)
+ MOPAR lift
+ 37" General ATX rolling stock, aired down to 30psi cold.

I'd call it just shy of 77"

Thanks @JP1...that is exactly what I needed to see! I may be able to squeeze a very similar lifted Rubicon JT in my garage after all. Now comes the hard part, convincing my wife that I have a good idea!

Put 745 miles on it yesterday, Madison, WI to Tupelo, MS.
Now at 1294 miles, not too bad for day 4.
It's a thirsty bugger with these 37"tank tires...

My ONLY 2 whiney-bitches are due to my own doing, and I know it:
1. Mileage SUCKS! so far 14.4 mpg.
2. ALOT of wondering on the interstate. I'm at exactly 32 psi cold, heats up to 35 psi hot. I just took them down to 30 psi cold to see if that helps.

37s have costs... :CWL:
No concerns about re-gearing running the 37's? Nothing I read says the 4.10 rear end can run 37's efficiently. I had 35's on my JK Rubi without noticeable issues, but not sure I would run 37's on the stock gears.

There's thoughts. 4.56 maybe?

I practically have a 7 speed, it seems like it prefers 7th more than 8th.

But again, I'm not a hard core rock climber, if so I would have gone a different way.

Also My Rubi is 4.10 now, the folks putting 37s on a sport or overland will probably need to change out of those 3.73s or they'll have to drive off a cliff while flooring it and MAYBE hit 8th while free falling.
