I was looking at fridges and stumbled on the ARB Linx system. I'm doing more research and will post what I find.
For now, I'm really feeling like I may do this instead of an sPOD.

@SleepyJeep you might like this too. I'm drawn to it because it includes sensors, it's not just switches.

A few cons I see. I'll write out pros later....
  • From the manual: "The LINX Controller is intended to be installed in the vehicle interior, in a location that will not be exposed to moisture or excessive heat."
    I'm not crazy about that. There isn't really a lot of room in the cab for this...
  • The outputs are all digital, they are meant to control relays, not directly switch a device. This makes the install a little more complicated than say, an sPOD, more wires and more components are needed. This means this will be a more expensive option. The base price is just the controller, you will spend more as you setup things to control.
  • The simple integrations are meant for ARB Accessories. I think you can integrate with non-ARB stuff, but it seems to be a bit more complicated to that.
