Looking for suggestions on a set of kid friendly step bars. I have a 2 year old that wants to get in and out on her own. I like the looks of the nfab epyx. I dont think the styles with just a little tread over the tube will be enough surface area. Appreciate your thoughts.

You might be interested in these. They are made by Westin, model HDX. Right now they are not listed on their web site for any 2020 truck. I just sent them a message asking if they will have them for the Gladiator. Will let you know what they say. I just saw them on a Ford truck, look great and sturdy. And great plates on the steps so you don’t slip.

I am going with Rock Slide Engineering power step rock slider. They look really good in the videos.

Here’s something to consider from Iron Cross. And yes they do make them for the Gladiator.

Saw this a couple years ago and always though it was a neat, cheap, option for the little legs.

I could've used that before adding my steps...

There isn’t enough information for a good recommendation.
1. Are you getting your Jeep lifted with larger tires?
2. What are you going to do with your Jeep? Are you going to take it off road and what kind of offroading? (Ex: overlanding or rock crawling?)

You need to give a complete list of requirements so we can give you solid recommendations. As you can see, there is a multitude of great stuff already out there.

Good questions. It will stay stock. I also won't be doing any crawling or overlanding. Just a city dad with 2 and 5 year old girls (and a short wife). Its main job is to get me back and forth to work and be able to haul stuff for projects.

I am with @Squatchwatcher. Will not go off roading, just dirt roads leading to boat landings and such. Will not get bigger tires and/or wheels and will not get raised, will run stock. Just need something to make it a tad easy to step up and in, born short. Normal step bars do not drop down much at all. Need steps that are lower. I like the height since it will go through 30” of water, great for flooding from hurricanes and extreme high tides.

I ended up with NFab podium steps.

Would 2nd these. Solid steps, and I like their predator pro’s especially, but kinda sharp on the edges and not very kid friendly

I got the n-fab nerf steps, and it's not a lot of surface area for the kids. My (as of last week) 4 yr old can manage it just fine, but I wouldn't think a 2 year old would be able to just yet. If you really need the target area the podium looks a lot more functional.
