What's with the crimp in the pipe near the spare tire?

Looks really close the spare tire. Is it right up against it? I'd be worried about hot exhaust piping that close to the tire.

from the factory? its a big bend in that area, the pip is close but still plenty of room, that is a 37" spare we stuck up in there! Pip during the day you can still touch it after driving around, so it shouldn't harm anything....

we still love the fact a 37" can fit in the factory location!

No, even the new stuff they installed had a crimp in it. If I am putting aftermarket exhaust on my stuff, I want zero crimps/restrictions. Just me. I was curious about that when I saw the video too.
