No Beta, and yes that is correct. To the best of my limited knowledge. Is that accurate? Are you beta testing? Just checked my phone (Xs) says 12.3.1 and that my software is up to date.

i got nothing to help you then. Now I want to know why my phone doesn't have the latest updates available. Also use AT&TNo Beta, and yes that is correct. To the best of my limited knowledge.
OS updates have to go through carrier approval for each phone model individually. So an iPhone 8 may not be running the same iOS version as an iPhone X. Same thing with Android devices. And some carriers push updates out faster than others. Verizon is known for being one of the slowest.i got nothing to help you then. I had android and they tried to say it was my phone. I didn't buy it and asked them to try their phones. Techs ended up pairing three different phones and the recipient heard interfering white noise on highway like the top we off. I wouldn't describe it as distortion. They could hear is, just had interfering wind noise. An update on IPhone noise issue. Just come from the dealer. Where the tech tried it with bluetooth, and then with Apple Car Play. No change, still distorted on the receivers end, and clear as a bell on our end. So the tech was able to get the Chrysler "Star Case" guys on the phone, according to them my IPhone 8 plus Software version 12.3.2, is not compatible with this version of UConnect. And no updates at the moment. Is anyone else, having the same trouble with an IPhone.
I wonder if we should post this on the general discussion forum. It makes the Gladiator very impractical for work calls on highway.I have now tested this with two different Galaxy S10s and an iPhone. Tested over BT, Android Auto, and CarPlay. Regardless of device or connection method the noise gets introduced at around 45-50 mph and becomes very loud at 55+. It worsens above 60 mph and becomes very difficult for the person to hear me.
I'm sure as more people experience this a resolution will be found.
There was another thread where an owner talked about this. I provided the link to this post in the hopes we could get everything consolidated here.I wonder if we should post this on the general discussion forum. It makes the Gladiator very impractical for work calls on highway.
Not a deal breaker for me. I never use Bluetooth audio for conversations. I plug in wired headphones. Just my preference. This is very disturbing news I've been waiting for my color to be released, but now I may need to wait for this issue to get resolved.

I'm probably overly optimistic and feel like this will get resolved. But maybe to push the issue a Direct Message to JeepCares?
Can you let us know when this issue resolved? I refuse to spend 60k on a vehicle that has an issue that makes a feature found in nearly every vehicle unusable.Hi iammacey,
We're sorry to hear that you are experiencing this concern with your new Gladiator. We would be happy to have this documented and looked into further by a case specialist. If this is something you would be interested in, we are always available via private message!

I don't think this is a wide spread issue. There are a few reports on the forum, but there are also reports of the bluetooth working great. Honestly something I would not expect in a vehicle with a soft top and a near vertical windshield that creates lots of wind noise. If you read forums you will see all sorts of issues making it seem like the problem is bigger than it really is. I also bet that if there is a fix it will be a software update, since the physical hardware has demonstrated its capable of working correctly. Can you let us know when this issue resolved? Isn't giving up standard features found in nearly every other vehicle in favorite of features found only in Jeeps what it is all about? For example power seats are traded for drain plugs. Smooth ride is traded for a SFA. MPGs are trade for smiles. And quiet cabins are traded for open air freedom and big MT tires. Yes the JL/JT are more comfortable than any generation before, but they are still a Jeep!
Need to read the entire thread, I had Two JKs before this JT, and hands-free worked fine with older technology and a louder JEEP. This Jeep is much more quiet so it is absolutely counter intuitive. Also, please note, my dealer replicated this issue at highway speeds on three separate Gladiators with different phones. In short, I think it is affecting more vehicles and is probably more widespread than it appears in the forum. I need this function to comply with the law and use the vehicle for work. I hope it is software, but I fear it is hardware.I don't think this is a wide spread issue. There are a few reports on the forum, but there are also reports of the bluetooth working great.
