I drove a Gladiator today and happened to notice something I had not noticed before. See what I have circled in this picture. It looks like it could be some A/C vents. But we turned the A/C to max power and tried it with the air blowing out of the dash vents, out of the floor vents and out of the front window defrost vents and still got no air blowing out of these things. No clue what they do or why they are there. Anyone know? Maybe air filters?

Intake? No real clue. But I might be able to figure it out...

JKs have a cabin air exhaust vent located on the tailgate. I believe this allows the AC to work effectively when on a fresh air setting, avoiding positive pressure. Maybe this is the same on the JT? JK:

So upon further visual inspection... they seem to just be decorative. The one behind the driver's seat (40 split) does not go anywhere. It seems like just a trim piece, the body of the cab is right under it. No carpet and no other cavities.

The one behind the passenger (60 split) seems to be covering something black, a solid piece on one side, and on the other side it's just a nice grill for what looks like a speaker behind it.

Ok totally confirmed. It's called the "Rear Cab Trim Panel Lower Storage Bin"

If you have the rear sub (questionable that it is a sub, but whatever).
One side is just a trim piece:

And the other side is a "storage bin":

If you don't have a sub, the whole thing is a "storage bin" :

Hey @ralphjjr you hit the nail in the head. No clue how you figured this one out. But kudos to you for that. The middle speaker is a bass speaker. I test drove a Sport S yesterday’s that had a manual transmission and it did not have that center bass speaker, also did not have the Bluetooth speaker. I took a couple of pictures of the area behind the back seats and here they are showing that storage tray that you described above. Just no clue what the screens in it are supposed to do. For certain they are at the bottom of this tray. @JP1 may be on to something here, may be right. Who knows? And yes @SleepyJeep they are under the back seats. Look at where the jack is on the passenger side and where the bolt box is on my drivers side and from there just look to the rear of that under seat area. That’s where this is.

I think those are blowout vents for when the airbags all go off and the windows are up.
