What do you mean killed your tow rating? Is there something specific you have read? I don't see much difference in drivability or towing with 35s.

Just towed my 4,500 lb travel trailer to Luray, VA in the mountains with 35” Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my Rubicon Gladiator with no issues at all.
