I might be it, but I'm not sure how much I trust/believe my local dealers. I know WAY more about this Jeep than they do. None of them even knew the August 5th date. I'll be calling them to ask if they show Hydro Blue as an option to order in their system. Hopefully that will ensure we're speaking the same language.

Well I can't say that exactly gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. I'm on CST and the dealer ( @spenchey ) I am buying from opens at 8am. I have been checking on here daily in hopes of someone saying that ordering is open. Maybe I'll just have to start calling them and checking. I know the guy I'm buying from is on vacation and he has turned it over to his sales manager who I just emailed. If I hear anything before you guys do, then I'll be sure to post it here ASAP!

Side note- I wonder if there will be a way to tell after the 2020 model year is over, exactly how many of each option was made. I'm ordering a manual transmission Hydro Blue Overland...I'm sure they probably won't be building a bunch of those...

I asked my dealer at 9am local, and he got back to me at noon to tell me not yet.

Based on my Previous experience with custom ordering vehicles, you might not wanna be in the first 500 to order a new color. Let them practice on someone else’s jeep

Because of the color or the application? They've used this color before on Wranglers and Cherokees...maybe others.

It’s currently being sprayed on some Ram’s as well.

Kent Shurtleff (from Peterson Jeep) told me yesterday that it was supposed to be 8/15

I doubt they're just making a bunch of Hydro Blue without any orders. It seems orders open up about a week before they starting spraying them.

I was at the dealer this morning @ 10:30, no Hydro Blue on the order form yet! I did however get to test drive a really nice Firecracker Red Sport S w/ Max Tow, 2' Mopar lift and 35's, I'll have to say, that was a nice build********* Snap out of it!!!!!!!! Wait for the Hydro Blue Rubicon!!!!!!

I’m right there with ya man. I’ve been tempted to just go ahead and drop coin on a Firecracker Rubi.

I was prepared to wait for the Hydro Blue myself. My wife really liked the color but then I came across a Firecracker Red LE on the lot at my local dealership. We took it home instead!!
