Doesn't look any different than my factory liner.

For what it's worth, my 2015 1500 Ram came from the dealer (I bought it off a lot) with factory bedliner. I've previously had Line-X and Onyx installed in other trucks. I don't beat on my truck but I also do not pamper it, and the factory liner has held up as well for me as the aftermarket did in prior trucks I'd owned. Not trying to 'dis' aftermarket or anyone who chooses aftermarket, just a point of reference i case it might be helpful

So far, my experience has been comparable to the factory option.
Will those with factory liner on their Gladiators post pics?

I’m curious if anyone else with past experience agrees with Rubidozer’s assessment that the OEM coating is too thin. I’ve only had trucks with drop in liners or a BedRug.
I mean, I had metal scraped across mine and it didn't even leave a mark, can't say the same for the plastic on the end of the tailgate...But I don't think the factory bedliner is going to be easily marked up. When I say it didn't leave a mark, I mean metal scraped off the stove that was dragged across it but didn't touch the liner. I have a very early production truck (got it mid May) so no idea if things have changed or not, but mine appears to be very well done with no bubbles or anything.

From my rack install but should give you a good idea.

if the factory liner ever isn't sufficient, get scratched or damaged... can't it just be resprayed/upgraded?

Yep. It absolutely could.

But then you're paying for it twice.

Better to skip the factory option, get it done aftermarket, and pay for it only once.

All threaded holes were plugged before spraying. No issues putting things back in place.
I don't think it is an 1/8” thick.

how well did it work spraying this hook and what's up with the hole/space the hook comes out of? also how did spraying the drain holes and the top of the bed (by the back of the cab on the bed froor) work? were they justcovered or did they spray over and the line-x not fill them?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by your post basicGlad.
The tiedown loop at the rear of the bed is not removable. LineX covered it well. The hole next to the loop is an unknown as to purpose...
The bed drains are slots up near the front of the bed and function as they should.
The hard plastic plugs in the bed were coated over in place. No issues with that in my eyes.
The top edge of the bed at the cab window was coated. Did not affect mounting the tonneau.

Got a quote of $600 for regular, $700 for premium, $1000 for color. Fenders were another $700 and $1000 for color (!).
