So to follow up, they did confirm that it isn't available. My dealer even checked and said it's not available. Jeep should take this off the website until it is available.

That’s interesting.

It’s back on the website? They took it off a few months ago.

Where is it now?

Jeep needs to make this available or at least explain why it’s not!

One of the FCA reps wrote me a while back and suggested I look for an after market unit because “they don’t offer a brake controller “

Seriously!!!! That’s all they have to say after all the fanfare?

Oh. I see it now. It’s back. Maybe this is a good sign. : )
I see it on the main page too, but I can’t find where to add it in the build.

I pulled this off the Jeep website a few minutes ago. I'm going to call tomorrow and ask why it's on their website if we can't order it.

I just connected up my aftermarket controller. As soon as I touch the brakes or squeeze the controllers brakes I get a fraction control service indicator and a distance cruise control error. It looks like the red wire isn't ever getting brake signal and is instead interfering with the others systems. Thoughts? I had read about some f150s needing to source the brake input somewhere else for models equipped with distance cruise.

I figured it out. It was wired correctly but if you have the distance keeping cruise control the brake switch isn't quite as simple as other vehicles. The 3014-p pigtail works fine as long as you don't squeeze the manual level on the brake controller. This is because it sends 12v up the brake lead in an effort to signal the brake lights. The 3024-P has a diode on the brake line to keep voltage from being sent upstream. You just need to switch two of the wires on the 3024 so that it has the same pinout as the JT or JL. That doesn't solve the no brake light issue when manually articulating the brake controller, but since that is only done while testing or emergencies it should be fine for most people. The diode just keeps the warning lights from triggering. You can also just live with the warning lights while setting up your controller and then restart the truck to clear them.

For those who already have a controller or a different brand than one that it plug and play, I think this is the pigtail you need for a gladiator to avoid cutting and splicing on the Jeep side. Will confirm once it arrives and it works!

Any chance do you now what two wires you had to switch on the 3024 harness?

I used the 3024-p harness then flipped the blue/black wires to get everything to work correctly with a Redarc Tow pro elite brake controller

I just picked my JT up a few weeks ago and it is still not available. Alot of guys are going with the Curt, but i think I'm going to use the Redarc Tow Pro. A few guys have installed this in the power port location where the picture of the factory one is. In reality if you wanted to remove it after you could go back to factory.

The Curt is nice but requires you to drill a hole when mounting it -

For the price difference I'd like the fit of the Redarc myself
