I guess once i get my sport S, i'll have to convince some nice Midwestern 35" wheel/tire owner like @pilotpat to swap wheels for some clearance photos/measurements. I think that's the only way we would ever know if 35" could fit on an unlifted sport S.

Looks like with right offset wheel, 33s will fit. Hopefully we can find some Rubicon take offs that have been put onto a sport S, to see if the stock offset will make them rub or not. Last 2 photos of 33s I think were with black rhino wheels that stuck out a bit from the fenders.

@steffen707 here are pics of our JLU Sahara with 33's and no lift. Sorry it took so long... I'm a teacher and we have had exams and end of the school craziness.

No worries. My mom was a teacher for 35 years, I remember her craziness.

Jeep family eh? Going to have 3? The tires/wheels on your Sarhara look nice.

@steffen707 lol... at the time of that pic we had three ... not pictured there is the 84 CJ7 (my profile pic). We have since traded my white JK Willy’s in for my wife to get a car good on gas (the JLU was hers, but she has an hour each way commute to work.. and it just wasn’t practical)... so we still have the CJ but will trade in the JLU for the JT (when I can get the right deal). But yes, Jeep family for sure!! I think Jeep was my 3rd word I learned when I was little

And thank you! The tires are Falken Wildpeak AT3W’s. It’s what I also had on my JK, I really like them. They will go on the JT when we get it... but eventually I will get 17” wheels, as that’s what I prefer.. my wife liked the 18’s.

I wouldn't trust Tire Rack to change my wiper blades.

You can run 285/75-17 on stock Sport models. Lots of threads and pictures of it being done on the JL side.
Will 295 70 R 17 tires fit on the stock rims for a Sport?

Yes, and so will a 305/70-17. Once you get to 315/70, that's when you'll start to have minor rubbing and you'll reach the maximum that you can go on a stock Sport with stock wheels.

285/70, 295/70, and 285/75 are all great sizes to run that fit with zero modification.

I just called Tire Rack and the biggest they say we can go without rubbing is LT275/65R17. I am looking to get the rubicon wheels and slightly bigger tires.. the only thing I don't like about the Sport S is the wheels/tires.
Did 2.5 leveling kit and 285/75/17. No issues

I've got 35s on stock wheels no lift Sport S. Only rubs full lock right and left. No rubbing in the fender or on the front bumper.

I put 35s on my Sport S, no lift. All I did was take off the extra piece of the bumper that "connects" the fender and bumper.

No rubbing at all, although I have not gone off-road with it yet. I prob won't until I have my metalcloak fenders on, that will give at least another 3-4 inches of clearance.
