The radio was working just fine yesterday. I get in this morning and it is dead quiet. I check the volume and it is not at zero. I check the Mute and it is not on. There just isn't anything coming from the speakers to include navigation instructions, phone, Bluetooth, Sirius, etc. It's like the mute button is stuck but I've made sure it is not on. I turned the vehicle off and made sure the system was powered down. Restarted it and still the same problem. I tried recycling the power on the unit itself and no luck. I've tried everything short of pulling fuses. I thought I would see if anyone has any ideas before I set up a appointment with the service dudes.

Have you tried using the FM button yet? Silly as it "sounds" but that sometimes works to get things back to normal.

Mine did that a couple days ago when I plugged the phone in. It changed the audio to USB input. I had to go back and select the radio again, after unplugging the phone a couple times trying to figure out what was going on. I've had it about six weeks, and it's only done that one time.

Yep. I think that was the issue. I left my phone in the house so it wouldn't connect and when I started it, the radio was back to normal. I HAVE MUSIC!! Thanks

I saw this thread and thought I'd updated it. My audio had stopped also. Everything not a peep from anything.

Since it was late I left it till the morning and tried it the next day and it started working like normal.

The moral of the story is that there must be a bug or update taking place, but the good news is that a good night's sleep seems to fix it.

Hi, adding my recent experience to the post. Started up yesterday 4/11, no sound from any source and no help from any manipulation of controls, buttons, settings, source selection (am fm sirius aux nada). Radio off/on, ignition off/on, no change. Drove (in silence) to get gas, after startup same silence, but then after hitting the AM button once again -- boom! back to normal.
Nice that it's working again (for now), but no confidence it won't happen again and no idea as to cause/cure.

Mine has did the same thing twice. No reason for stop or start. It did seem like the AM button might have been involved with mine starting too.

**Edit** selecting AM fixed my radio as well.

Mine did the same thing today. Was very frustrating. I pulled over, powered down and the restarted. That didnā€™t work. I popped the hood and checked fuses, all were right and good so I shut down and started up again... no sound.
Read in a JL forum to try selecting AM radio... that worked!
@JeepCares, do you have any idea why this happens?
