I was finally able to get a good coat of Mothers CMX ceramic coating on my truck. I washed it down good yesterday and removed a few water spots that I had on the hood. Today I whipped it down with some Mothers California Gold Showtime. I use Showtime all the time. I love this stuff.
After I was satisfied that I had removed all the contaminates from the paint I installed the Mothers CMX.
It was a fairly straight forward process and went on and whipped off nice and easily. It provides a great shine and helps brighten up the color. I will try to get a second coat on very soon.
I had already CMXed my wife lady's JLU and I was very impressed with the beading and water runoff after the rain. No more water spots on her red paint. The CMX is a bit pricey at $20 a bottle but I was surprised to see how little spray it took to do the JLU and the JT. This bottle will last us a few years.
