I'm not really concerned about cost, more about value of work. Would you trust the dealership or an independent shop? I'm located near Tampa.

Sorry Rubicon suspension on a sport s.Are you proposing installing a Rubicon suspension on another trim, or installing a suspension lift on a Rubicon trim Gladiator. I don't know that it really matters, but it's a bit vague. In any case, it's not rocket surgery. I would say it depends on the price quoted, and the convenience. If possible, do it yourself.
I honestly wouldn’t pay anyone to do that. After evaluating mine for several weeks, I feel that the rear shocks don’t provide enough dampening. You also won’t gain much lift- maybe an inch in the front. If your stock suspension doesn’t meet your needs, I would wait a bit and pick up something which does. It’s not that the Rubi suspension is bad, but I don’t know that it would be worth paying someone to install it.Sorry Rubicon suspension on a sport s.
Neither. Do it yourself. Very doable with hand tools, floor Jack, and Jack stands.I'm not really concerned about cost, more about value of work. Would you trust the dealership or an independent shop? I'm located near Tampa.
My issue isnt skill, it's time. To me, time is money. I would be better having someone else do it while I stay busy doing other things. Plus, someone who does this every day has an eye for something typically if it doesnt look right....Neither. Do it yourself. Very doable with hand tools, floor Jack, and Jack stands.
I hear ya. Time is precious. My problem is I'm a type A perfectionist and don't trust that anyone would do as good of a job as I would do hence why I did my own install. My issue isnt skill, it's time. To me, time is money.
