Any idea what this is????

Over the weekend I installed the MOPAR 5” led lights and mounted them using the MOPAR a-pillar mounting brackets. Yes they are expensive but they look great and allow me to still drop my windshield when we go to the beach.

Part of the bracket install has you remove the cowl from each side. Under the driver’s side cowl I found this mysterious female adapter. Not really sure what it goes to. I tried tracing it but quickly gave up. If it matters I went cheap with halogen package (regret it now) but do have the auxiliary switches. Again this is only on the drivers side? Any ideas what it is for?
