Only 750 miles and its back in at the dealership.
For the same issue
P0300 and P0171

First time they replace O2 Sensor 1 Bank 1
Symptoms included
Auto start stop disabled
Check engine light
Fuel Milage goes to crap
Idles rough
Shifts wrong (sticks in gear)

Service advisor says they might need to call up the line to get it investigated.

@JeepCares has this come up yet?
My 2019 wrangler has the same exact issue with the same mileage 778. I get a service Start/Stop system message then the check engine light flashes with three codes P0171, P0300, P2096. What is the production date on your vehicle? Mine is 12/18. I noticed the lower gears sticking/shifting hard. When I stepped on the break it decelerated and then bucks before it comes to a stop. I have a manual transmission.

It hasn't been fixed yet, but apparently the issue is a leaky valve cover gasket that allows a very small drip of oil to fall onto the wire harness for the O2 sensor, then causes the sensor to fail causing all the codes. The service manager said theres a Service bulletin about it thats going to be released soon.

Thank you for the update!!! They just towed my in yesterday. I just traded in my 05 grand Cherokee, bought it new. Never once did it misfire. Wrangler isn’t even at 1000 miles and it’s misfiring. Anyway, thank you for the heads up I will forward this info to the service reps.

Hi cmnjeep,

We’re sorry to hear about this. We certainly understand how concerning this may be. We recommend having your dealer look into this for you. Please send us a private message as well so we can connect you with a Case Specialist for further handling.

New Update

Wire harness checks out fine, new PCM installed and theres still a fault somewhere as the check engine light came on during the test drive.

At this point the Jeep has been at the dealership longer than it has been at home. To say I am upset and disappointed is an understatement.

Somewhat unrelated by my girlfriend leased a Jeep renegade and 4 days after she got it, it spent 7 weeks at the dealership and ultimately got a complete new harness installed and they gave us 15 free oil changes. We return it next month and we’re looking forward to it

Anyone get this fixed yet? I'm on visit #3 and still no luck. Trying not to bash it, but two month s of ownership with like 14 days in the shop is not good. I am hoping someone finds a cure...or maybe we got lemons?

I just bought my Jeep last week and the check engine light came on. And I checked the code and it is the P0300. Has anyone had this fixed? If so do you know the fix?

You can add one more to this list. Had my Gladiator one day, took it in the next day for the Mopar 2" lift, got it back with an ESS light on the dash. Drove it over the weekend, then brought it to dealer in which they have had for 2 full days (and counting) and are scratching their heads as to the cause. 311 miles. Note: I do not have the check engine light, just the ESS light (always lit), and the Start Stop disabled warning upon start up.

I have a related issue with the ESS. On start up in the morning the ESS light will come on as disabled. I can drive up the driveway, turn the truck off then back on and it is fine. And it is not every morning. Will be a nightmare for the dealer to duplicate. I'll have to wait until it gets worse or they figure out the problems and have a fix.

My Gladiator will be going into the shop Friday morning for the second time. first time had the service start stop light come on about 10 times within the first 500 miles then a check engine p300. Cleared codes said the could not find anything. Im at 1000 miles now check engine light just came back on and the service auto stop start has been intermittent.

Hey! How is your car? Did the fixed leak solve the problem? My Jeep is getting towed again. 1300 miles and the same issue is back. I tried to tell my service rep about the Service bulletin yours told you about and she dismissed me. She said they will look at my car and diagnose the cause. I was not that happy with her response. If they knew what they were doing the car wouldn't be getting towed again for the same issue 600 miles later. I'm assuming I will just keep getting a tow every 600-700 miles until it is a Lemon. Hope you had better luck with your Jeep! I'm interested if your problem was fixed.

@JeepCares Does Jeep really care? I didn't feel like they cared at all!

Cristina
