Dana 44 is the stock axle on Gladiator. There is a “wide” option Dana 44 that comes on the Max Tow package for Sport S trim, or on the Rubicon. Never seen the actual width difference in writing anywhere.

I think the max tow axles are supposed to be 1.5" wider. They're the same as what goes on the Rubicon minus all of the lockers.

M210 and M220 is the new name for the axles formerly known as Dana 44's.
M210 and M220 (Rubi, Sport S w/ max tow), M186 and M200 (Sport, Sport S, Overland) are indeed all Dana 44
The width difference is 1.5" wider on the M210 and M220.

The Mopar site says my Overland has M210 and M220 axels. The sticker just says Dana 44s. I guess I will have to crawl under it and see if I can tell. I do have a hitch but not max tow.

Interesting, the overland has the wide axles? Does that mean an overland with the standard tow package is essentially a "max tow" minus the 4.1 gear but anti spin availability.

Have you measured them?
No but the Rubicon & Max tow have a extra lip on the fender flares, mine doesn’t.
Here’s a picture of my axle tags
