IMO, there would be little difference in fuel economy in the JT with the Pentastar vs. with the 5.7 Hemi.

That's because the 3.8 was a slug and a pig compared to the 3.6. That said, I would still prefer a Hemi, tho.My mileage changed very little going from 3.8l to 5.7l in my JK, drivability changed drastically.

Well, other than the sister pickups, what is GM putting the 2.8L in? Nothing that I know of, so low engine production numbers and charging less.What do you think the ecodiesel costs FCA ? I have a feeling that the $4k up charge is yielding the same or lower margin vs the 3.6
