Nice upgrades. Where did you get the bumper from?
Ultimately had the dealership install it prior to purchase but it is a Warn Elite Full Width bumper. The dealership price matched the cheapest price I could find online. Labor was $52,000. I talked them down from $59,000 :)

That is the perfect bumper and winch setup
Two reasons I like the Warn bumper: 1. it allows the winch to sit low in the bumper and not block as much air to the engine and 2. It allows you to use your stock fog lamps.

That's a lot of money to install a Bumper. Did it take them 5,000 hours to install. :CWL:

Installed the Maxmate tonneau cover (for Colorado, picked up at Amazon.) Looks great and very happy with the look, function, and price. Only thing I did a bit different on the install that I haven't seen anyone else do is adding some padding under the rail corners closest to the tailgate. The rails from the kit are padded underneath, but the last half inch or so isn't and I didn't want it digging into the top of the truck rail. Which is also plastic. I just used some of the extra padding that came with it.
Did you buy the 5”1” or the 5’2” version? I believe the new Colorados have the 5’2” bed. Thanks for the help

Agreed, I found my JT much better at road ability, towing and improved all over performance from my Dakota truck, which was only a couple of inches shorter. I am also getting better mileage than I got with the Dakota.
Yes, it is not a full size truck in terms of overall performance, but again, I did not want or need a full size truck!
Cheers

I just can’t leave well enough alone, i ordered Rockrawler 3” front springs, JKS fixed lower control arms 5/16” longer, Yeti adjustable track bar, JKS quick disconnects for sway bar & fat bobs 1.5” rear spacers.

What was the secret to get the holes in the plate aligned with the screws?
It’s a tough one to install....
Actually the alignment wasn't the issue, it was just holding the mounting plate still. I didn't have a clamp or even any tape handy (and couldn't get my second hand in there), so every time I touched the pedal bracket to the screws the whole mounting plate would slide backwards. Very frustrating. My wife, being only 5'2", could get both arms in there at the same time...though it was almost too small a space for her to fit, either.

Moral of this story, buy a quality winch plate. This new one is the Warn.

The old one is this JCR
Whats wrong with the old winch plate?

Installed the quick disconnects for the soft top and cleaned it up. Also a good angle of the way it sits with the 1 1/2” rear spacers in place of the 3/4” rears.
