Hood Swiches. In the Wrangler, one of those controls the Electronic Start Stop system. I forget what the other is for but there are youtube vids on the subject.

Don’t know how to break this to you but your snorkel is on the opposite site.

Ya know, looking at the pics under the hood, it just looks like they need to make a snorkel for the other side. I don't see anything that would prevent an aftermarket manufacturer from doing so.

I really hope Rugged Ridge does that with their upcoming snorkel. That one looks rather kick ass..

As for the dual battery, maybe it can't go under the hood but there are multiple locations all over the truck.

Does anyone know the size of fuel tank the 2020 Gladiator Ecodiesel will have?

I've not seen it announced anywhere, but I'm beginning to think it will keep the same 22g tank. I think there is enough room on the JT to not have the DEF tank interfere with the fuel tank size. At least I'm hoping that is the case. If they drop it down to 18.3 like in the JL, even at 24mpg, the JT-D will only have a range of 439 miles... quite a bit less than a JL with the 2.0 Turbo.



What I did find interesting is that the Jeep rep in the video said it would have the longest range of any Wrangler... so it has to be better than the 473 mile range of the 2.0 Turbo (21.5 gallons x 22mpg combined). With only a 18.3 gallon tank, that would mean it would have to get at least 26mpg. The Ram 1500 is officially rated at only 24mpg combined. I have a hard time believing that the brick called a JT will get better than the Ram.
