Cut and pasted from the other thread ...

Behold, a Gator in the wild.

Did my best to get some pictures with different levels of light, but there was really no place to escape the sun. Once they get the new tires and bedliner installed, I'll bring it home and try something different. Overall, I'm very pleased with the color and it looks spot on to what Glacier posted previously.

All the salesman came out when I pulled in; they had all been waiting like the rest of us to see the color in person and said they had to wave several customers away this morning who wanted to buy it.

I'm not terribly familiar with how to post images, so apologies in advance if I hose it up.

I got this picture Monday but thought it was 2 Gobi JT's. This is gator vs. Gobi. Looks pretty close in my opinion.

Gator vs Gobi Jeep Gladiators.jpeg
WOW, definately should have gone a few shades darker on the green as others have pointed out. Still very cool. Choose Gobi if you're more of a desert guy, Gator if you're more of a woodland guy.

THEY'RE BOTH STILL GLADIATORS!

so if Gator doesn't exist 3 years from now, I can just buy a Gobi and drive it through an algae pond......cool.

I definately like the black fender, black top look in those photos.

Steffen as long as i got you here off topic but what have you done to secure bags of groceries in the pickup bed? My gladiator is due any day now, just curious if you use a divider of some sort or bungee net etc? Thanks and regarding the gator/gobi both look so close!

I agree. Takes me back to my Army days when I drove a HMMWV all over Ft. Campbell and S. Korea.

Gator to me has been the biggest fubar questionable color they have ever had
100% Agree. They missed a few more drops of green in that paint...

How can I get a timeline like this?

I really wish I could swap dealerships right now. Between this experience and the BS the service manager gave my wife just now, I am furious. I don't know where all the good reviews came from, but they will get some negative from me very soon. I am betting my price jumps up 5k when it arrives. I am in Durham, but buying from Raleigh. Would like to think delivery would not be too much different.

I think it’s perfect. I like Gobi but not how light it is, also didn’t want a very green color. I bet it looks more green in person. Look at the interior tan seats vs the inside of the door trim. It immediately looks more green when next to those tan seats in the Sport.

Well I was hoping more green.
That's close to the Tacoma quicksand. I'd still drive it if it was mine but not my first choice.

I will add that these colors all seem to change drastically in the sun vs shade which is cool.
