A little bit late to this thread, but a great looking build! By any chance do you have a photo of the Pulsar programmer installed? If the earlier pic showed it then I must be partially blind, cause I couldn't pick it out. Will be seriously considering that when I finally get my hands on my Gladiator (it's in JB status as of Monday).
pull ECM and ECM mount
Replace ECM mount with Pulsar mount
Attach Pulsar to ECM
Attach contraption to Mount.

You gotta get into the habit of wiping under the hood down with a microfiber cloth every time you open the hood, it is starting to get dirty :surprised:;). LOL

OK, so I got this thing in today.
DISCLAIMER, I'm ONLY using it for the modes as I already have a TAZER-JL Mini.

Install:
sucks.
So, it took me just under an hour, BUT remember, I need a damn ladder just to reach the ECM. most of this is the OEM mount removal/new mount install.

Now, with that said, I'm pretty sure that I could pull this thing tomorrow if needed for a dealer visit in 15 minutes or less.
I'm going to change two of the bolts from the mount to the ECM/Pulsar to some type of quick release. If this works, it'll be a 5 minute swap. There'd be NO reason to change the mount, just unplug the two plugs, quick release it from the mount, separate the ECM and Pulsar, put the ECM on the mount and replug it.

So, I flipped thru the settings, and my first 'seat of the pants' impression?
only 20 miles or so today.
HOLYCHIT!
This is one of the best things I've done!
Stock: Stock
ECO: This will be my interstate road trip setting, seemed to like 8th a lot more than before! I hope to see the same kind of mileage improvement!
TOW: This will probably be my day-to-day. better pedal feel, woke it up, pepped it up, even on the 37s.
PERF: Only tried it for a minute as they say high octane and I don't want to detonate it. but seat of pants? YA, they lying. This thing woke right up and wanted to run! I felt more than a 30 HP boost.

This will make my 3rd PowerTec tuner, This one IS impressive! :like:
I'm going to work :puke:
I'll update this weekend. :like:

So, I am deciding between Tazer Mini and the Pulsar - which one do you think I should get?
Don't they do different things? I think @JP1 has both, but he likes gadgets. Like me.

Thanks for the Pulsar pics. It's allot easier to figure out what I'm looking at after watching the install video on Edge's website. I like that you really can't tell anything has been modified from stock.

By the way, if you want to know an install that really SUCKS, try a Prodigy Performance Turbocharger kit. I put one on my soon to be traded-in 2014 Wrangler JKUR, and it took me 2 weeks of working on weekends and after work to get done, along with a fair amount of cussing and beer. Worth it for the performance gains, but if I ever considered that again I'd have a shop do it.

Curious, why the Tazer JL vs the Tazer Mini? Sorry if you answer this somewhere in the thread.

Just made it to the part of the thread where you switched.... like reading a book over again.

Anyone have issues with their Pulsar? I have close to 7,000 miles with mine. Got a check engine light and service ESC code the other day. Cleared the code with my scan tool, but they both came back today. Pulled the Pulsar to go to the dealership but the lights were gone after putting everything back to stock (could just be disconnecting the neg battery cable) but drove for about 30 mins and still no lights. Headed to dealership to be safe.
