Building a custom exhaust at the shop...

Who has done this... I have watched enough exhaust videos than I care to admit... who has selected a muffler and had yours built. If so what muffler?

I was thinking of clamping it to the cat back and having the rest welded up in case I want to remove quickly... I have been considering aFe, Borla, and DynoMax mufflers and having the shop do the pipe sections.

I cut off from the resonator back and it sounded like a tractor so I had a shop weld in 3.5 feet of 3" pipe to a magna flow with a turn down about 2 feet from the rear axle. sounds very nice under load but is pretty quiet just idling which is what I wanted.
