I’ve seen some complaints on other threads about not getting ‘JeepWaves’...
Since 2018, there are more than 300,000 new Wranglers on the road (not counting Gladiators)... most driven by new Wrangler drivers... many of whom are newbies to the wave. How will they learn, if we don’t teach them? A Jeep Wave isn’t a gift we give, expecting one in return... it’s our ‘tip-of-the-hat’... our acknowledgment, (as sage and august, brethren of the Jeep Wheeler society)... for their, impeccably wise, tastefully distinguished, choice of their iconically classic, oft impersonated, but never duplicated, original, offroad, rig...
In time they’ll come to understand, and honor, the significance of the ‘Jeep Wave’!

Today at 2:42 PM

Does the Bull Bar block your trail camera view at all? Could you post a screen shot? Thanks

Answer:
I only use the front cam when I come up to the top of a steep rise, that drops off on the other side, and I can’t see anything over the hood. Then I’m just concerned with what’s directly in front of me, and the TrailCam sees about 15, 20, feet ahead... plenty! ;{

I used to chuckle to see so many write, here on the forum, how they fall more in love with their JT everyday...

now that I’ve driven my GCM JTRLE for a month... I’m still chuckling... chuckling... and giggling... and walking around grinning from ear to ear... like a friggin love-sick teenager!

This rig is everything I dreamed it would be, times a bazillion! It surprises me with more capability, everyday! I swear, it’s like the truck is learning my driving style, what it needs to do, and getting better at doing it daily! I know all engines break in, and MPG improves... but my engine feels more powerful today, has more jump off the line, than it did the first week I had it! And I’ve said this before, but the steering... handles just like an MG, or a Morgan, or an Austin-Healy... it drives like a genuine sports car... the kind we used to love to drive back in the day! And my MPG is beating the sticker... with 99% mountain driving! Up one mountain, down the next. I hardly ever get it on an open freeway, where the MPG spikes up to 25, 27! At 80 mph!

I take back any mocking I did of folks swooning over their Gladiators! I confess, I’m totally, and completely, enraptured with the latest, greatest, love of my life! ;{

So is anyone else having some questions on the steering on your GCLE? WildJD says his handles like an MG but I’ve found at highway speeds I’m correcting a lot. I thought maybe it was a jeep thing since I haven’t had one in a while. When I pass semis I can feel the pull/push from the wind and have to hold onto the steering to keep the JT straight. Is this normal? When going around curves on the highway there also seems like a lot of play.

When I first picked it up, I definitely needed a lot of small corrections to keep it straight. First night I aired down to the door jamb pressure (shipped ~3 psi higher). Sometimes there is still a little bit of play, but airing down helped a bunch.

All the things you just mentioned are true of MGs, Alfa Romeos, Austin Healys, etc... lol! ;{

This color is the one I always want, but there are 0 in SoCal, so I get a black one
I picked mine up over a month ago in socal and there were at least 4 that I found on dealer lots. Here's a first pick when I got it. Put it to work right away LOL

There is something about Granite Jeeps! Wife’s friend visiting with her Grand Cherokee between my son’s Cherokee and my JT.

Jacksonville Beach (JAX). Now down here in FL. Next couple of weekends will try some beach access and surf fishin’.
Hey @HikerBob
I’m sure you’ve read all the Forum threads on the steering issues, but apparently some Glads have come from the factory with alignment problems... so if you’re not getting use to the handling, I’d chk that first... my truck, at 70 or 80... hands off the wheel, tracks true, and straight, right down the lane it’s in.
If that’s ok, then I gather, the Fox Steering Stabilizer works wonders... (only if you aren’t getting use to the handling!) Just FYI bro... ;{

Came out of a convenience store today on the Rez, to find two cute young Indian girls snapping shots of my truck with their phones! I said, “Y’all takin’ pics of my truck?”
They said, “Yeah... do you mind? It’s the first Gladiator we’ve seen! Can we look inside?”
I said, yeah and let ‘em ooh and ahhh... then I said, come around to the back of the truck and I’ll show you something special... I showed ‘em the Launch Edition badge... they giggled, oooh’d and ahhh’d some more... and took more pics of the badge close up!
My truck is a Rock Star! ⭐ ;{

Finally got around to putting an insert in. Had to mod the factory one to keep the trail cam. Also got the rock lights, under glow and demon eyes done.

Next is the lift, wheels and tires. Bought a Evo 2.5 kit and 37 KM3s but I can’t make my mind up on wheels though.

Can you explain how the trail can is attached to the factory grill & what mods you had to do to keep it in place? From the outside it looks like it is part of the factory honeycomb inserts and not just clipped into place. I want to change my grill out to a black one and hoping for a simple fix to make the trail cam still work.
