Nemesis Industries also has an Aluminum body armor option, although they don't have one available for the Gladiator yet. I had them on my JK and they were top quality and lightweight.

Nemesis makes awesome stuff! I had their Fenders bumpers and Billy rocker sliders with their tub armor on my 13 JKU and loved them

I had the same setup (except bumpers, mine were Warrior Products) on my 2014 JKUR. I live only 30 miles from their shop and was able to pick up the parts and meet the owner (Rob), really nice guy. Loved the weight saving and no rust aspects of the aluminum.

From JT over at Nemesis
"It's something we have talked about. I can ask the shop about the lead on it. However our new sliders will not require tub armor with them we are trying to move away from body mounted sliders due to the jeep being so thin."

so Nemesis is moving away from body mounted sliders.........interesting.

Personally I don't think its either / or for body / frame mount. Based on how your going to use your jeep - having both or hybrid of both gives you the best support. Even if you had a strong frame mount - tying into the body is going to give you additional reinforcement to minimize any flex or give in the rock rail as you drop onto it. Frame mount might be stiff - but 12" of leverage it will move a bit. Tying into the body at the pinch weld will also allow for moving the body with the rail. that all said - big and bulky is going to have more opportunity to catch, hang up or drag on a obstacle.
What are you basing your opinion on? Conventional wisdom is that they should be either frame mounted or body mounted, but not both. Your Jeep’s body moves (and needs to) on the frame when it flexes.

I wouldn’t trust them to build mine. They drink crappy beer...

Picked them up today no just have to find some hardware. Looks like 5 cases of beer :rock:

Exposing my ignorance here - frame vs body mounted?

Rubicon stock rails have the bolts through the pinch seem and then the four bolts going up from the bottom...is that 'body mount'?

The Rock Hard rails use all of those same mounting points plus the three body bolts on each side. Is that considered frame and body mounted which I've seen in this thread described as problematic?

Both are body mount, frame mount is if it bolts through the frame, not the body mounts of pinch weld seam.

Anyone install mopar rails, part number 82215606?
I’d like to see pictures. Wondering is it has a ledge wide enough to stand on (even on tip toes) while getting into the gladiator.
