Smart idea? Not really. If you have that kind of money, ship it to the best place you can find to do that weather in Fla. or not. What’s a couple more bucks. The price tag is part of the bragging!

Smart Idea? Hell no, but when has that stopped most people?

Seriously though, unless you are a Youtuber needing clicks destroying your drive axles, that kind of money can get you farther in more realistic mods before you run out of motor with the stock one.

Then again, seeing your from West Palm Beach, ridiculous is the norm down there for peoples rides.
Yup!

I understand a hemi swap if you’ve got a blown motor out of warranty but a hellcat or even worse a hellephant is just stupidity. If you just need more torque the diesel is right around the corner
One of my friends that works for a Jeep dealer told me the diesels aren’t coming in to United States but because they didn’t pass some regulation

The idea intrigues me, too! I'd never pay the $30K folks want for it. But putting an LS or Hemi in a Gladiator would be really cool. Not to drag race, just to do it. I've only swapped engines on carbureted cars, but I'd love to work through and understand how to make all the engine ECU and accessory electronics work together and also understand how to pass annual emissions; you'd still have the OBD port, but I think you'd need a tune with HP Tuner or another tuning product to get it to report as the right kind of vehicle and engine.

30K for fun swap including the Hellcat motor if this is true then that’s a steal???? I thought being a Hellcat owner the motor itself was in the 20ish Range.

Yes, you're right for the Hellcat Hemi: Summit sells the brand new Hellcat crate engines for $18,400. But you could get a plain vanilla 5.7L Hemi long-block for around $5,600 new. Or you could get one from a wreck much cheaper.

In looking at a ton of Jeeps and the crazy mods people chose...who the heck are we (as a community) to jump on @Anthony.C for what he wants to do with the JT?

If it makes you happy, go for it!

Go to You Tube, look for Lite Brite, they just did a Hemi swap in there JLU, it was done in Cali., but they may have some connections. You might check with Bruiser Customs I think they are in Tampa or Sarasota.

Americas Most Wanted 4x4 makes a VERY COMPLETE high quality kit and they have great customer service. It is not what you would call cheap but it is factory quality and the engine and trans comes with a 3yr 36k warranty from FCA. They are located in Holly Michigan but have relationships with a number of shops around the country. I did the 6.4 SRT hemi swap in my Gladiator. Swap also included the heavier trans used in the Dodge 3/4 ton trucks .I am more then satisfied with the power from the 6.4 SRT (just under 500hp). No it is not a drag car, yes it is a jeep, yes the 3.6 is ok (compared to the CJ&, TJ, and JKs that I have owned), but the Gladiator is so much better with a bit more power. IF you have the disposable funds to do the swap or have it done then go for it. As for the turbo's, look at how many are blowing up their 3.6's with turbos. Like the previous poster said, ck out Lite Brite on you tube. They did their swap a couple months ago and are driving around the country and running it hard. I am 1100 miles into my swap. They probably have close to 5000 on theirs by now.

How does that work for legality? Been looking at options out of morbid curiosity. The Bruiser Conversion specifically states their conversions are for off-road use only, but they are using LS engines instead of LTs. Still, Mopar and GM both say either that their crate engines are for older vehicles or competition/off-road use.
