Well I posted a video about how well it worked to our YouTube channel just a few minutes ago. Added some metal cloak diff covers too. Check it out let me know what ta think about my opinion of the regear.

EDIT:
Here is the link.
Good video about the gearing. I drove a Gladiator with 4:10`s and 37`s and was surprised at how well it performed and i mirror your thoughts that a gear change is not something that has to be done but for optimal performance it`s to be considered. I will keep my 4:10`s for about a year then make a gearing change, here in Cali. you can drive from sea level to over 12,000 ft. in one day so more than any other state a gearing change is a consideration. Keep the videos coming, good work.

Utah is the same way. I can go from 2k to 14k pretty easy. I'm really happy with the 4.88s getting 8th back was nice.

Dialed in my command center a little bit today and ran the power for all my devices with some room to expand.

My garage rocks. Why would you want so much height in a garage it's wasted space they said. I'm sure I'll find a use for it I said.

What Antenna/mount is this?
An Oscar special.
I fabbed that up out of some leftover flat stock from another project. It's just an L bracket using the hole above it to mount to the truck. You could probably just by and L from Lowe's or something and cut to fit.

Got it, so then what's the antenna/mount? I'm used to working with the NMO or lip mount ones. That appears to be an right angled mount with what I'm assuming to be a 2m/440 dual band?

So that antenna was screwed into a magnetic base. I was trying to figure out a good place for it but with all the aluminum on the truck and my topper being aluminum I couldn't. On a whim I unscrewed it from the base and here we are.

It's this antenna.

Jeep looks awesome. How many days of overlanding in a row is your goal with this setup?
