How are you liking the Rock Slide retractable steps?

They're working well. My short wife appreciates them, considering we're on a 3" lift on 37" tires and she's like 5'4. They are LOUD when they close up though. I've tried to put weather stripping on all the points on contact, but that hasn't helped the SLAM sound when they close up.

Photo taken shortly after pulling the F350 out of the snow.. We were on the Elk Hunt. If you look closely to the rear drivers side of the Jeep, you can make out the carcass of a cow Elk that's been eaten clean by predators..

LED Light bar on order as well as a new front custom grill. The wife decided that I mod'd the JT so much, that I should own/keep it. So, off to the dealership we went and bought her a new JL. We now have HIS & HER jeeps!

CISO, huh. You are in HIGH demand. I have many stories, but I’ll share one. I needed to hire a CISO for my last fortune 100 financial services company (I retired in 2017). This was about six years ago. Finalist was on the east coast and we needed them in Texas. Doubled his salary, he sold his house immediately, but before he moved this current company countered by doubling it again! I said no. Hired number two who used the big salary bump and move to get divorced. Then self-destructed with new found wealth, freedom and location! Damn dating sites did him in!

Thanks. Post Army, I've now been doing this line of work for nearly 25 years; CISO for the last ~10-15. Stressful, exciting and with great compensation as you noted. If all goes well, I hope to "retire" in ~2 years and buy an RV park for the next and possibly final phase of my career. Married 29 years now, so dating sites are a no-go for this guy!
