Thank you! When you were all done, the Jeep sits Level? When I finished just the front, I took it out to a parking lot and it looked almost perfectly level, with maybe a little more height in the front. I didn't measure it, but that's how it looked to me.
With both ends done now, to me it looks stock, only taller. That's with the spacers that came with the kit and the 3/4" rear spacers (DAYSTAR KJ09192BK) stacked. In the rear I left the stock isolators at the top, the new spacer goes on the bottom where there is no stock spacer in the rear. The front spacer replaces the front isolator, so that probably accounts for some of the front spacers additional height, when compared to the rear spacers included in the lift.
The ride is perfect. If it's different from stock, it's not perceptible to me. I was running down the road at 60 this morning and took my hands off the wheel and it tracks straight down the road. Like I said earlier, I'm still going to take it to an alignment shop. Not because I think there's anything wrong, but because I've been bit by not doing that in the past and ate up a set of front tires, even when the Jeep was riding ok.
I wore the T-Patch and AG patch too...Not today, but over the past week. (Picked it up last Monday).
Installed Hot Head Headliners, bartact seat covers, 37" Cooper Discover STT Pro on black rock D-windows, built right bed panels, Rock Slide Engineering step sliders, Rugged Ridge light guards, CB antenna mount, and some decals.
How you liking the Grypmat? Worth the coin?
Yeah, I like them. Santa brought me a variety pack. No more dropped washers or nuts rolling down the driveway into oblivion. How you liking the Grypmat? Worth the coin?
I spy some ///M gear! Have the same license plate surround, but in the closet now since I don't have my E90 M3 anymore
Would you mind sharing a view through the TrailCam?I test fit my new KC Hilites PRO6 LED lights on my OEM steel bumper with the Warn Low Grille Guard installed.
They fit perfectly using the existing mounting holes. I was a bit nervous if they would fit when I ordered the lights. Started looking into making a custom mounting bracket.
now I just need to wire them up this weekend and install a few extra goodies that arrived the last couple days...
BTW - the lights look blue because I have not yet removed the Blue protective film.
Good eye. Yes, thought it was amusing to re-use my carbon fiber M license plate frame on my anything-but-lightweight Gladiator.I spy some ///M gear! Have the same license plate surround, but in the closet now since I don't have my E90 M3 anymore
Tough to tell from the pictures; are those antenna mounts or air connections at your rear bumper?
I love those D-SS PROs. They're wicked bright. I have a spot set that I will be reusing on this rig on a set of Rigid cowl mounts I ordered. As far as forward lighting, the plan right now is to have an amber spot set and the D-SS PROs up top on the cowl mount, and an amber set + a white set of Rigid driving patterns, along with a Rigid 20" white hyperspot bar in my eventual Road Armor front bumper. Not today, but mounted some Rigid Dually SS Pro’s to the wife’s Gladiator. Used Baja Design mounts.
