Congrats on your first Jeep! Glad you're enjoying.

That city MPG is brutal, but not much you can do there.
I have to stop every 100 feet for a Stop Sign or Traffic Light.

"Welcome to New York." :headbang: :CWL:

I drove there once. Quick in to a hotel valet through the Lincoln Tunnel, and then out to Long Island.

Quite the experience. I get into a little traffic in Pittsburgh now and again, but nothing prepared me for New York!

Way to go giving the manual hell there!

What did you 6 speed manual guys use to recalibrate your speedometer for larger tires?

I’ve had mine for about 3 days now. Yes the clutch is soft but only takes about 20 miles to get used. Not regretting my decision one bit was so tired of all the auto transmissions I’ve had over the years. Once again driving is fun!

I ordered Tazer mini to do mine
Here's my experience with RC's Speedometer Calibrator.

Definitely corrected the speedo BUT...Disabled my Start Stop (with an accompanying warning to "service the start stop" ... and a dash amber warning light for the same) and threw 2 PCM codes.

When I put it back to stock it corrected everything.

Notified RC and they are working on a program to address it. (Sounds like I am the first to report this issue)

Others with the auto have not had this problem to my knowledge.

And YES...I had updated their latest software.

Tazer mini has a manual transmission specific process/addendum you have to follow.

For the Tazer Mini, when doing the manual transmission calibration drive, does anyone know if you need to hit that whole sixth gear MPH range notated in the directions, or just get it up there somewhere in the range?

Finally got my new Speed Dawg shift knob delivered and installed. Sits up about 2 inches higher, but I like the sphere-shape a lot more than the awkward stock knob. They didn’t have this one in stock so I waited 6 weeks from order to delivery, about the same as ordering the truck. Their website has the adapter for JL’s, but it took three hardware stores to find the right jam nut

First I heard of it. Had to go look.

That said, mine behaved oddly a few times at first then went away. Just strange stuff at startup, but nothing that seemed to affect anything. It was so soon after getting the Jeep that I wasn't sure what it was all about. I had the Tazer sitting there waiting for a Jeep to put it in.

I'm now thinking after reading the procedure which sounds like drive it in 6th gear a bit and then shut it off a couple times, that I might have accidentally done it and then all was well.

One of my main reasons for getting it besides tire size and tpms was disabling ESS, so maybe that played a role too, since it remembers the state and I shut it off right away.

Anyways, it did everything I wished for from it and hasn't given me any grief. Tire size I set right away, but I've tinkered lowering my tire pressure a couple times until I got them where I wanted. No problems.
