Anyone else used the JScan app for changing settings in the ECU? I saw a review of it on the Facebook Gladiator Mods and Tech group page and tried it today after mounting 33’s. It seemed to work great! The app is free. You have to purchase a VIN license, a OBD Bluetooth adapter and SGW cable ($17, $28, $33). Still much cheaper than a tazer. The hardest part is getting those little plugs out and back in. Tight space for fat fingers! Worth a look!

Ive used Jscan, and was going to use it on the glad, but the app has a broke link for the 3rd individual vin purchase. been talking to them over the holidays and still waiting on a fix.

not as fancy as the tazer, but dont really need all the extra stuff.

Yeah- for doing more of the basics (tire size, gear change, etc) it’s probably the cheapest and easiest way.

I used it on my JKUR but wasn't aware it worked with the JT. I'll have to get out my ODB adapter and see what options are available.

You have to buy a SGW cable to change anything. It connects to same plugs as the razer does.

I went out and plugged up my OBD adapter to go through it. I was disappointed to find ESS disable isn't a feature and you have to not only get a SGW bypass but if you want all available features you have to also get the OBDLink MX+. Awesome that they've got it working on the JT/JL however.

Used it to swap out my fog lights to LED and TPMS settings. Nice software for the price. Much easier than running to the dealer every time I want to change something.

The SGW is above and behind the OBD connector, kind of a pain to get to. This is the two plugs

As for the TPMS all you need to do is mount the tires/wheels and drive it, if they are compatible they will sync up on there own.

Anyone got a link to the SGW cable? I have googled it and no luck.

Just got this setup and seems very straight forward to use. Did the update for my 34.5 tires. Definitely noticed the shifts are smoother. Hope this software plays nice.
