Unplanned 70 degree day in January meant I got a sneak peak at spring driving, so I popped off the freedom panels and went for a spin

Nice:like: I have video of my son when he was 8 years old riding around with me in my JK with the top and doors off in the dead of winter. He would bundled up in his winter clothes and wrap himself in a blanket. If the roads are free of salt and dry my top and doors are off. It is not uncommon for us to go on trips on 20Ā° days. I was always worried that his blanket would somehow get caught in the rear tire and rip him right out of his seat:CWL: He is a bit tougher now a days at 17. No more blankets:)

Not quite 70 here in NH, but Iā€™ll take 67 with the FPs off! Any day you can take the top off is a good day!

Today, we are getting cold together. I was worried with the temps we get here that the Jeep would be pretty cold inside in the mornings, but nope, how wrong I was. Jeep is no different than my old 2015 Durango. 10 minutes after the remote start and it feels toasty inside. No complaints on the highway either.

Bet the ol' Salt River doesn't look like that today with all the rains we had over the weekend.

Nope, EMS was dispatched to a "pickup truck in the water, all the caller can see is the tires sticking up" last week. I only go in when it's below my doors in most places.

Is the camera that little hole in the bottom of the bumper? I bought my with the trail cam and it is much more prevalent. If it is that little hole, that is awesome.

Yeah, itā€™s the hole in the bumper. Itā€™s the zautomotive camera. Itā€™s less prevalent than the factory trail cam, but Iā€™d prefer the quality and the angle of the factory camera.

I just returned from a trip from south Texas to Tahlequah Oklahoma to visit my wifeā€™s sister. 1,100 mile trip through a super bad storm 3 hours of it. a little sleet & snow, low 20 at night my Jeep handled anything i threw at it. Very smooth comfortable trip average mileage was 17mpg.

Is that with the windhsield obstructed by snow and you're using the adaptive cruise control to compensate for the lack of visibility? or is the focus supposed to be on the display of the vehicle in front?

Got my first PUNKā€™N Wave oil service and tire rotation today. That part went pretty smooth. Also back in early December I ordered a new key fob. The dealer got it in next day, only to find out they didnā€™t have the machine to laser cut it to match the set. They said a dealer 45 miles from me had the correct equipment. To expedite matters I volunteered to take the key there to have it done. When I arrived, of course, no body knew anything, but a phone call took care of it. Unfortunately when cutting the blank, something went wrong. Now I had a paperweight. They said I now needed to return it to the dealer I purchased it from. Upon return they said they would replace via warranty. They ordered and said they would call. Today (since I was there anyway) I stopped by the parts department to check on it. They said they had lost my number (but they no doubt didnā€™t try too hard) and it had been there for a while. After all that I took it out to my ride and... nothing! Wasnā€™t programmed! Another 1/2 hour and all is well with the world. 3 working key FOBs.

No snow at this point when a vehicle is around 4 car lengths away & they are going below the set point it shows this old willys that Iā€™m following when i change lanes it will just accelerate to set point. I never take my focus away from the road it just allows you to rest your legs
