8.4" upgrade

I am thinking about upgrading the 7" radio to the 8.4". I was going to use infotainment.com, but the price is $1599. Basically, I was wondering if anyone has sold their 7" factory and what did you get for it/what is a good asking price?

Check their site again, I saw their refurished unit for $999. Also, their ebay site sales the new 8.4 for $1300. Based on that, I would call them directly and negotiate a price. I would think you could get it for a lot less than $1600.

I'm still several months away if I do upgrade, but I think that is the route I'm taking too.

I see folks over on the JL forums pretty interested in getting hands on 7 inch factory units. You could easily sell it over there.
