Wondering what is being used to protect and retain the black color of the fenders and top. On our liberty the black bumper is gray and I want to try and keep the jt parts black.

Armor-All also has a satin, no shine product. Same as the other but leaves the vinyl, etc. with no gloss, no wet look.
Not to diss or argue against 303 - just saying...............

So far I have wiped mine down with 303 a couple of times. Primarily because it is what I have.

I use this stuff called Blak on the plastic and tires. It lasts forever and doesn't wash off/run with water. Just wear gloves, it will stain your hands for days. I'm probably going to give my premium soft top and tonneau cover a good treatment with the 303 stuff for boats canvases and sunbrella fabrics.

I'm interested in this as well. I've used Armor-All inside cars before and it does seem to leave a residue. Does 303 do the same? Has anyone used Armor-All on the fenders or Freedom Top before and have any recommendations? How often do you re-apply (my vehicle will be kept outside)

I used a ceramic coating "ARMOR SHIELD IX" on the Gladiator. It has been a few months and it still looks good.

I have a 2014 JKU that had the faded plastic look and Armor-All and other like coating would look good for a few weeks but then fade again. I put the ARMOR SHIELD IX on it and it looked like new. Has been about 3 months now and still looks great. I suspect that any ceramic coating would work but the Armor Shield is good quality at a solid price point.

Use the 303 protectant. Great Uv protection without the gloss and residue.

I recently switched over to Adam's Graphene coating and spray on my other vehicles. '12 JKR and '17 Ram 1500. You can apply the coating to all surfaces. Glass, plastic, paint, everything except the soft top.

So far it's held up extremely well on both vehicles. It doesn't wear off the glass as quickly as rain-x or other coatings. Plastics on both look great after a few months. Paint is still slick as ever.

The day I get the JT home it's getting clayed, polished and coated in graphene.
