So I want to extend an invitation to you guys to come and ride with me and some friends of mine. It would be nice to have another JT on the trails with me for a change. As of now the list looks like this...

02/01 Lake Houser ORV park
02/29 Broken Nut ORV park
03/14-03/15 Beasley Knob in Ga. (Badge trail) Will be staying overnight
03/28 Patriot Mountain ORV park
05/22-05/25 Rausch Creek Pa. (Badge trail x3)

At some point during the winter months I hope to hit Peters Mill Run (also a badge trail) and there will be rides to Uwharrie in there for sure but they don't open again until April 15th. I will update my list as I plan.

Lake Houser this coming Saturday 02/01.
Weather looks like about 40% chance of rain.
Looks like Peters Mill Run will be 02/15.

Might be in for broken nut, that is in my neck of the woods. You think a stock rubicon can handle that trail?

I've never been to Broken Nut but I have a winch. Won't know till you try, we can get you through it.

Nice, I might also have my winch on as well by then, just waiting for some warmer clearer weather. Also looking at putting a 2" spacer lift on just to give myself a little bit more clearance.

A friend of mine went to Broken Nut on Sunday. He said it's 99.9% mud. No real obstacles. Based on that information I have decided not to make the trip but it does sound like a stock truck would have no problems there.

Thats good to know for me. Sounds like a great trail to try out for the first time then. Thanks for letting me know.

I've been wanting to go to Beasley, but that's right when youth softball is getting geared up. If I can't make it then, maybe one day this summer?
