Picked mine up Friday - Sport with Max Tow.

If you don't mind me asking - what made you decide to go the Sport route as opposed to sport S? I'm leaning towards sport due to the lack of electronics

Got my first in person look at gator, punkn and gobi. All look nice. Gator and gobi really are similar. Gator of course is best.

You guys are lucky! White is really growing on me. Need to see my truck next to a Gator black top and black fenders. 2.5 years to go till lease is up!

I've had JLU sport for 2 years, so I'm used to primitive conditions. And I'm cheap. And this particular JT was an abandoned custom order with an automatic, max tow, hard top, tinted windows, bed liner and the smokers option (?) but not power windows/locks. Due to the odd combination of options, I was able to get discounts from a dealer that typically doesn't discount.

All that being said, I actually like manual windows and the ability to operate them with out a key. I can tolerate manual locks and rarely lock my JL anyway. I think the Gator color lends itself to military like, outdoorsy back to basics type of vehicle. Also realize that even with a sport, you are still at the mercy of a significant amount of electronics.

Like most people have said on here, the red dash looks better in person, but I still wasn’t a fan. Now it’s a Gator dash with a matching steering wheel bezel. The photo does a pretty good job of showing the chameleon effect of Gator based on the lighting too.

Is this a dip you did yourself, something you ordered, or did you take it somewhere? Thanks.

It's a shame the factory doesn't paint the dash body color to start with.

This is the rattle can special. I sanded everything with some 800 grit sandpaper, then two coats of primer, three coats of Mopar Gator touch up spray paint that I found online, and finally two coats of a flat clear coat. I painted all the chrome around the instrument panel and vents black.
