There are a few Jeep Facebook groups for the STL area. Axelboy offroad gets talked about a lot on them.

If you want recommendations, check out the local jeep clubs. MidwestJeepThing is the largest, JeepingMidRivers is also a great club. Both are on Facebook. Visit the facebook and ask or better yet, attend a meeting and get to know a few people. Axleboy just had their annual chili cookoff. There are other events to get to meet some of the shops that invest in the community.
