I just received a new TPMS sensor for my spare. What needs to be done? I do have a Tazer Mini installed too.

You just need to mount it in the spare. When you mount the spare in a road wheel position you just need to drive it and it will recognize it’s location and it will show up in the dash.

Here are some questions for @JeepCares

Why when I bought TPMS was the spare not included?

Why does the onboard TPMS display not support the spare tire?

My normal maintenance will still require me to check the air pressure in the spare.

I’m not happy with Jeep for not including this capability on the Gladiator. The dealer informs me that the Wrangler has this feature, but to many customers complained about getting TPMS failures that turned out to be the spare tire. Someone should come up with an after market fix.

I don’t have a Gladiator yet but my two JL’s do not display the spare in the dash display. Both spares came with a TPMS installed and the Jeep will recognize the spare when it is placed on one of the four road positions. I think the difference is the JL has five matching wheels where the Gladiator only has four and a steel spare located under the bed and not intended to be included in the tire rotation procedure.
