Hi everyone!

Documenting here my JTR build for triple sport purposes for my family and I in Dubai (weekday 3-kid commute truck, weekend family camper, and big trip Overlander). I know I’m asking a lot of one vehicle, but hey - no harm trying. Starting off with a Launch Edition JTR with lots of goodies from the factory but missing the Halo lights and the Rubicon fenders for this region specs.

With that goal in mind, here is how the build is mapped out:

- 35” BFG AT/KOs
- Method 701 matt bronze
- RK 3.0 Pro-X suspension
- Looking for big ass shocks, TBD here
- Deciding on which aluminum skidplate to go with
- Warn M8274-70 in custom cradle and Rubicon steel bumper
- Warn 9.5Xpi-s in rear bumper
- Custom bed rack to keep OEM Tonneau cover
- iKamper Skycamp 1.0
- IBS solar panel on the tent with dual battery system, deep cycle secondary battery (planning under bed)
- Extreme Air Magnum with 4g air tank (planning under bed)
- Baja Design Squadron Pros on bumper
- ARB Classic II 60L fridge on Slide in bed
- Privacy/Toilet awning
- 40L water tank
- Smartek hot water shower system
- Borla exhaust
- Fox Steering dampener
- Looking for an aluminum full roof rack for the expeditions
- ARB diff covers
- MOPAR Halo headlights
- MOPAR Rubicon Fenders
- other miscellaneous items

I will update this post and tread as we progress...

Here are some initial pictures:

That is an ambitious list. I'll follow your thread and watch your build. I've wanted a hard cover tent, but it's a tough choice. I decided to go with a half height rack and took the T-cover off (stored in the garage for the time being). As a Launch Edition Bro, I'll share some photos of my beauty in this post. I went with a 2-inch Mopar lift and 35's (I use the truck daily and 37's weren't practical, even if they do look cool).

Take care and good luck,

Wayne

Sounds like a good build!

Are the rear bumper reflectors also rear fog lights from the factory for your region? Would love to get a Mopar part number if so!

I would imagine Jeeps fall way below Land Cruisers, Land Rovers and G-Wagens over there...

Jeeps are very prominent...but yeah Toyotas and Nissans are dominant on the road. The G Wagon is everywhere too. This is the first Jeep in our stable (prviously/currently with several Rovers and a G)...but the Gladiator is still a rare sight...should pick up soon...pun intended ;)

So the M8274-70 and cover are mounted in the custom cradle (modeled after the planetary winch cradle) and the chopped up OEM steel bumper are all ready and done. (Cover necessary for sun UV management...will be taken off at home prior to wheeling)

Packaging is nice and tight, and the front camera still sees somewhat above the winch. Today should install the BD lights on the sides of the winch.

Any thoughts where best to put the BD light? (Trying to reuse OEM holes/bolts)

Hook side or non-hook side?

I like it where you've got it on the driver's side! It hearkens back to when Jeeps had the signal light below the headlight.
